Talia Zajac won Canadian Association of Ukrainian Studies’ Article of the Year Award for “The Social-Political Roles of the Princess in Kyivan Rus’, ca. 945–1240,” in A Companion to Global Queenship. The award was presented at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, BC) during the 2019 Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences, the largest Canadian conference of the humanities.
